Education & Early Experience
Gerald H. (Jerry) McGlone grew up in Terre Haute, IN, worked as an engineer, and served active duty in the Army Corp of Engineers before attending law school. Three of his five children are lawyers and one is in practice with him. Jerry has successfully represented clients in personal injury accident cases, defective products cases, construction site accidents, fire losses, real estate disputes, and once he even represented a client charged with murder.
Extensive Courtroom Experience
Jerry’s varied experience makes him uniquely qualified in his field. His engineering background is helpful in defective products, premises, and construction site accident cases. At one point in his career, he represented insurance companies in accident cases, and he now uses this experience to benefit his clients. Jerry is admitted to practice before the Indiana Courts, Federal District Courts, and the 7th Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals. He is a member of several professional legal organizations, including the Terre Haute, Indiana, and American Bar Associations, the Indiana Trial Lawyers Association, and the American Trial Lawyers Association.

If you are seeking compensation from an individual, corporation, or government agency, it is important to get representation from attorneys who are familiar with Indiana legal codes and statute of limitations laws. For personal injury cases, the statute of limitation is two years. For claims against the city or county, however, the limit is 180 days, and for government agencies, the limit is 270 days. Our Terre Haute personal injury attorneys can help you file a claim and investigate the incident by gathering documentation, including photographs and witness statements, to support your case in court.
